NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) boosted its operational renewable portfolio to 10,721.80 MW after commissioning the first 50.4 MW phase of the Vanki Wind Energy Project on July 8, 2026. Located in the Nakhatrana region of Kutch, Gujarat, the project is managed by NGEL’s wholly-owned subsidiary, NTPC REL. The operational launch marks another step in the group's clean energy expansion, which recently included a power purchase agreement with PTC India for 1,200 MW of solar power.
